Hi, I’m Shunyao Zhang

About Me

I'm a motivated Computer Science student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I’m from Shenzhen, China, and I’ve studied in China, Thailand, Myanmar, Spain, and now, the United States. Fun fact, my first language used to be Thai!

I went to high school in Shenzhen College of International Education, where I met some amazing people and made unforgettable memories. Can you tell which one is me to the left?

I spend most of my free time coding, which you can learn more about in my projects page. Since dedicating myself to programming, I’ve learned to code in Python, C, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, and ARMv7 Assembly.

My favorite language is Python, in case you were wondering; it is also naturally my language of choice for LeetCode. I love Python for its easiness to turn my thoughts into action quickly by helping take care of the details with dynamic types, list comprehension, etc.

Outside of coding, my two main hobbies are cooking and ice-skating.
